- With the support of Carbon Newture, the company completed carbon footprint accounting and certification for its linen grey yarn product.
2024
- Huayi has completed full photovoltaic coverage across the rooftops of its factory buildings, with a total installation area exceeding 20,000 square meters and an annual solar power generation capacity of approximately 5 million kilowatt-hours. All workshop production equipment has also undergone comprehensive energy-saving upgrades. In addition, Huayi continuously optimizes its production processes to reduce carbon emissions during manufacturing.
- With support from Carbon Newture, Huayi has completed the carbon footprint accounting and certification for its signature product, "Dangzhu Silk". Looking ahead, Huayi will actively respond to the national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, continuously improving its product carbon footprint management system, scientifically planning its carbon neutrality pathway, controlling carbon emission intensity, and steadily advancing toward carbon neutrality.
